LIFE = Learning Is For Everyone!

Since March 1990, under the sponsorship of Rowan College at Burlington County, LIFE has offered its members, aged 50+, the opportunity to pursue informal educational goals through a broad range of classes taught by volunteer instructors. Classes are held at the college campus in Mount Laurel and via off-site locations.

  • Membership = $80 a year or $55 for summer only (Sept- Aug)

Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver

Senior Citizen Lawyer Referral Program

The Burlington County Bar Association, 
through a grant from the 
Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders,
provides legal assistance to Burlington County
residents age 60 and older.

PREFERENCE FOR SERVICE IS GIVEN TO THOSE INDIVIDUALS WITH THE GREATEST SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC NEED.

After an initial interview with the Program staff, a referral is made to a Program Attorney.  Interviews are held at the Burlington County Bar Association, 45 Grant Street, Mt. Holly.  Interviews may also be held at the client's home if necessary.  The Program is responsible for the attorney's fee.  However, a contribution towards the service based on the client's income is suggested.

Clients not eligible for the Senior Citizen Lawyer Referral program will be referred to the Lawyer Referral Service of the Burlington County Bar Association.  The fee for the initial consultation is $35.
