Join us in commemorating the day in 1924 when the great Babe Ruth came to Delanco for an exhibition Game--the biggest event in Delanco history.
This year, we mark the day with a doubleheader between two titans teams of the 19th Century Base Ball Association: Resolutes Base Ball Club of Elizabeth and the Flemington Neshanocks played at Babe Ruth Field, Cooper Street. Matches will be played by historic Civil War era (1864 and 1870) rules of the game. A family-friendly event free to the public. Food and beverages available at the field. Babe Ruth Field is on Cooper Street, two blocks east of Delanco's Riverline Station.
