PART TIME TO FULL TIME OFFICE ASSISTANT
Delanco Township is seeking qualified candidates for a PT to FT position in the
Administration and Municipal Clerk’s office. Individual must have strong written
and spoken communication skills as well as computer and organizational skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and have a
minimum of three (3) years of office experience. High School diploma or equivalent
required. Prior municipal government experience preferred. Duties include, but
are not limited to, interaction with the public, answering phones, front desk, various
clerical functions, licensing and any other duties as assigned for the proper and
efficient operation of the township’s administration office. Successful candidate
must be available to work evening public hours 2-3 Monday evenings each month in
addition to the regular daytime office schedule. Must be able to work in a fastpaced,
complex work environment and have ability to handle flexible and multiple
work tasks. Position will initially be part time and may become full time after
working test period is completed. Starting salary is anticipated to be $15.00/hr.
