Don't forget to renew your pet's license before January 31st to avoid late fees.  Your pet's rabies certificate must be good through October 2013 in order to renew the license.  Spayed/Neutered pets are $12.00 for the year, non-spayed/neutered pets are $15.00.  There is a $3.00 late fee for each month after January.  You can mail in your renewal (please include a self-addressed stamped envelope and be sure to include a copy of any new rabies certificate) to : 770 Coopertown Road, Delanco, NJ 08075; or use the after hours drop box in the parking lot.  Please do not put money in the drop box--checks or money orders only.

According to the Delanco Township Code 123-8 Titled "Regulations of Dogs": 

B. Running at large; prohibition. 
No person owning, keeping or harboring any dog shall suffer or permit it to run at large upon the public streets, in any public parks or in any public place within the Township of Delanco.

D. Leash required; streets.  No person owning, keeping or harboring any dog shall suffer or permit it to be upon the public streets or in any of the public places of the Township of Delanco unless such dog is accompanied by a person over the age of 12 years and is securely confined and controlled by adequate leash not more than six feet long.
