The Environmental Advisory Board has partnered with One Compost Can, a local farmer who provides food composting services to residents and businesses, to hold a pumpkin composting collection throughout the month of November.

 From November 1-30, drop off your clean pumpkins in the green bins at the Public Works Garage. **PUMPKINS MUST NOT CONTAIN any paint, glue, glitter, wax, or mold.**

 Food waste (including pumpkins) is the largest source of fugitive methane from U.S. landfills, so every composted pumpkin helps! Plus, you’ll be providing a food source for local pigs!
