4/7/2020 - Remembering Marlene Jass


We are sorry to announce the death of former Delanco Mayor and Township Committee member, Marlene Jass, who passed away on April 5, 2020.  

Marlene was a member of Township Committee from 2009-2017 and was Delanco’s Mayor in 2012.  Marlene served on the Township’s Joint Land Use Board, Economic Advisory Board, Recreation Commission, and was involved in many other community organizations.  She was a constant presence as a volunteer at community events.

Marlene was deeply committed to our community.  When she represented Delanco at county, state and national events and meetings, she returned with ideas and contacts to implement them.  She often presented a different point of view for the Committee to consider and always researched a subject in detail.   

We will miss Marlene.
