The Delanco Township Committee has scheduled introduction of an ordinance proposing the re-vamping of Shade Tree regulations.  Issues relating to this subject has been under discussion for months.   Below are links to two proposed ordinances and a brief summary of them.

The plan is to introduce just the Shade Tree ordinance at this Monday evening’s meeting (April 15) and schedule the public hearing and potential adoption, for the next regular meeting on May 6.  The Subdivision amendment ordinance is to be introduced at the May 6 meeting, then forwarded to the Joint Land Use Board for consistency review at their June 5 meeting.  The Public Hearing before the Township Committee and potential adoption of this ordinance, would then be scheduled for their June 10 meeting.

The Township Committee asked that this information be posted on this website so that everyone interested in these issues will have time to read and understand the ordinances in order to provide full comments at the public hearings.  In the meantime, if anyone has any questions or needs clarifications, do not hesitate to contact the Township Administrator or any Township Committee member.
