Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) Protocol
As per the Attorney General, there is a new Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) Protocol. Medicine Drop Box
The Delanco Township Police Department announces they have joined the New Jersey Attorney General's "Project Medicine Drop" initiative, and has installed a Project Medicine Drop box at the lobby of police headquarters, located at 770 Coopertown Road. This announcement makes it easier and more convenient than ever for Delanco Township residents to take an active role in the fight against the nationwide epidemic of opiate and heroin abuse, which often is fueled by the abuse of prescription pain killers.
Residents may visit the Delanco Police Department at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to dispose of their expired or unused medications. If you visit outside of normal business hours for the Municipal building--Monday through Thursday, 8:30AM to 4:00PM and Friday 8:30AM to 12:30PM--please use the telephone or doorbell located on the Police Department side of the building for entrance.
Project Medicine drop is a natural addition to our commitment to help improve the public safety and quality of life in Delanco Township. It will encourage our residents to be fully aware of the potential for abuse by these prescription medications and provide them with the proper way of disposing of unwanted or expired prescription medications.
