2/11/2020 - Water Service Interruption - Feb. 11th

Good Afternoon Residents,

Residents in several areas of town have reported low water pressure or no water this afternoon.  New Jersey American Water Company reported that they are in the process of investigating a water main break in the area of Beverly, New Jersey and as a result residents in the surrounding area may experience NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, DISCOLORED WATER. 

Below is the latest statement from New Jersey American Water:

New Jersey American Water crews are making emergency repairs on a water main beginning at 4:00 PM in Beverly. As a result, of these repairs customers on the following streets may experience NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, DISCOLORED WATER; Cooper Street.

Repairs are expected to take 6 hours before water service is back to normal. When service is restored, customers may experience cloudy and or discolored water. If your water is discolored, run the cold water only at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes so that it clears before using. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while repairs are being made.
